Official Result of Festival Wind Orchestra 2009 (Inter SBP & Cluster School) Preliminary Round Competition held at SEMSAS on 16th, 17th and 18th April, 2009:-



Division 1 Results:-

Gold & Finale Finalists - Sekolah Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Malay College Kuala Kangsar, SM Sultan Abdul Halim, Sekolah Seri Puteri, Sekolah Dato' Abdul Razak, Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah, Tunku Kurshiah College, Ave Maria Convent.
Gold - SM Sains Machang, SM Sains Kota Tinggi, Sekolah Tun Fatimah, SM Sains Raja Tun Azlan Shah.
Silver - SM Sains Sultan Mahmud, SMK Penang Free.
Bronze - SM Sains Dungun & SM Sains Tun Syed Sheh Shahabuddin

Bronze Medallists from Division 1 will be demoted to Division 2 whilst Gold Medallists from Division 2 will be promoted to Division 1 for next year's Wind Orchestra Competition.

The Inter SBP Wind Orchestra Competition 2009 will be holding its preliminary round competition this coming Friday & Saturday the 17th & 18th April, 2009 at SEMSAS (formerly Sekolah Menengah Sains Pahang).

Come and watch premier SBPs like MCKK, STAR, SDAR, SSAS, TKC, SSP, STF, SERATAS, SMSS, SEMSAS, MOZAC, SMSD etc. compete in this glitzy annual event. This year will be more interesting with the addition of Cluster Schools.



We will be there to support Sekolah Menengah Sains Selangor Wind Orchestra (SMSSWO) aka The Renaissance. The up and coming ensemble has improved by leaps and bounds and will perform two songs i.e. the melodic `Siti Payung' and the highly mystical `Ireland: Of Legend and Lore'. Watch this space!!
